About

An approach to the concept of silence from the personal perspectives of different artists.

Physical spaces. Silence as emptiness.
Silence from a physical and corporeal point of view.
Talk about the “decibel” of this sound unit. Talk about this “cut-off” between sound and non-sound. Between sound and silence.
This image that comes to mind as an atomization of the minimum sound hearing, as a minimum concept and also as a poetic image.
Landscape observatories. The silence of nature.
Space – territory – versus the individual. The look outside and the contemplation of the landscape without the presence of the human being. The power of vacuum as a generator. Noticing the absence is one way to analyze it.
Freeze time. Quiet. Quiet.
Photography, which initially “captures” the moment. “Portraits” of architectures
deaf or of floating stones in time.
The culture.
Language and silence as the backbone of thought, culture and art.
Silence as death.
Emptiness, absence and loss. The end of life and the relationship with what’s left. Silence as an element of beginning and end.
