Positions of contemporary art in painting, sculpture, graphics and photography
About
The exhibition shows a wide spectrum of contemporary art and brings together works by artists from four continents. As different as their way to art is the diversity of their artistic styles.
Johannes Janusz Dittloff, born 1951 in Poland, graduated from the Art Academy Krakow, lives and works in Germany since 1985.
Goran Duzevic, born in 1956 in Croatia, studied painting from 1976 to 1980 with Prof. Borko Lazeski, lives and works in Croatia and in Germany since 1992.
Debora Fede, born in Rome, (1965) graduated from the "Liceo Artistico" in Rome and finished her painting studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Rome. Currently she lives and works in Florence.
Engdaget Legesse, born 1971 in Ethiopia, graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Addis Ababa and continued his studies at the University of Fine Arts in Berlin. He lives and works in Berlin and Addis Ababa.
Professor Ki-Woong Park, artist and curator, born 1958 in Korea, received a PhD degree from the Hongik University Graduate School of Fine Arts in Seoul and a PhD degree in Art & Design from Nottingham Trent University (UK).
Professor Wayne Quilliam is a multi-award winning expert in contemporary visualization of Indigenous Australia and one of Australia's preeminent Indigenous photographic artists, curators and cultural advisers.
Anna Tessenow, 1978 born in Germany, studied at the "Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig" (Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig) in Professor Arno Rink's class from 1996 to 2005 and was one of his master students.
Thomas Tyllack, artist, curator and organizer of art exhibitions and intercultural projects, *1954 in Berlin, 1981 graduated from The Berlin School of Art (Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee) has been active for over forty years in the field of art.
