Simon Carter takes his chief inspiration from the incredible landscape within which he lives, fascinated by the 'fluid' nature of the east coast of England he spends a great deal of time walking through the marshes and coastlines. His work explores a human reaction to nature through deep observation, creating a fascinating abstracted use of form and colour to represent that which he is seeing.
