About

In contemporary society, individual identities are often shaped and constrained by established systems and structures. As first exhibition of his exhibition series, this solo show of south korean artist Shinoh Nam critically examines how individual and collective identities are shaped and constrained by oppressive societal systems. By employing sculpture, installation, sound, and performance, it challenges entrenched beliefs and questions the arbitrary guidelines imposed by societal frameworks. Through an interdisciplinary approach encompassing architecture, literature, religious history, and modern culture, the project investigates the complex interplay between human consciousness and external structures.
