A striking photography exhibition by a group of young unaccompanied asylum seekers

About

Shared Horizon is a photography exhibition by a group of Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children living in Wakefield, Barnsley and Kirklees. It is a celebration of a youth photography project started in October 2008. The themes of the project were landscape and language, which through the rich potential of photography, has given the group a creative outlet and enabled them to collaborate, share experiences, and learn more about themselves and each other.

The project name 'Shared Horizon' highlights to young people the similarities we share as human beings and the need to embrace different cultures in order to create a varied, yet integrated society.
