This month-long exhibition by Tallahassee Clay Arts will showcase 30 artists from Tallahassee who make pottery, sculpture and mosaics out of clay.
About
On display will be a wall filled with 100 mugs made by potters from Lafayette Arts and Crafts Center, FSU’s Ceraminoles Club and FSU’s Art Center. The mugs, pottery and sculpture featured in the show will be for sale.
In addition, there will be four special events. All events are FREE.
– Thursday, October 3rd | Soft Opening & Artist Talk | Doors open at 6:30pm, Artist Talk at 7 pm
– Friday, October 4th | First Friday Art Walk| Grand Opening from 5:30pm– 10:00pm
– Saturday, October 12th | Celebrate Makers Event| from 5:30pm -9:00pm
*Live music with music by Finn and the Kingsnakes
*Performance art and wheel throwing demonstrations
*Hands-on clay activities
– Sunday, October 20th | Coffee Cup Social and Sale | from 11:00am – 3:00pm
