Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 August
We are very excited to announce that 'Shakespeare by the Sea' is coming to Jaywick Martello Tower over the weekend of 6-7 August. In the year which marks 400 years since the death of The Bard, these two days of events will be inspired by Shakespeare's plays, poetry and songs.
Run by Matthew Townshend Productions and with the support of Tendring District Council.
Saturday 6 August, 11am - 3pm
Drop in on a family friendly music workshop and join in with with the performers. No experience required, just bring your enthusiasm! All ages from age eight years and up.
Sunday 7 August, 2pm
Come along, bring a picnic and a rug to sit on and enjoy a lively performance; meeting characters who find themselves shipwrecked, lost or abandoned in foreign lands. Help them as they puzzle their way through the strange and funny situations they find themselves in.
