Serious Play

About

It's less about what we want to say and more about what we want to do. This is all we ever want to do, which is to play. This is our work. This is our joy. This is our purpose. Creating is a form of play and there's nothing as serious as playing with something formless and non-being that takes form through playing. This type of play requires no planning but only being present, from start to finish. No planning is necessary, because who plans how to play? At some point in our playing, we become mere instruments that translate the said formless into something seen, heard, even felt. This makes playing even more gratifying and more meaningful to us. It reminds us of what Oscar Wilde once said “Some things are too important to be taken seriously.” We invite the viewers to come into our world to witness, experience, and above all, try to enjoy the play.
