DYNAMO-DYNAMO - In this exhibition Sergey Voronzov juxtaposes the connotation. DYNAMO is not just a force, a movement forward, a machine that makes light. DYNAMO is undoubtedly our bright future. At the same time DYNAMO is also one Soviet and post-Soviet term for unfulfilled promises. Dreams: guitar, rocking horse, sexy girls instead of disciplined athletes: DYNAMO - DYNAMO. Repetition is a kind of evocation, as in mosaics one stone at a time or how to print graphic works with small seals - all this is a ritual gesture, illusory protection against the illusory absurdity. Juliana Bardolim SERGEY VORONZOV, born in Moscow 1960, is a visual artist, exhibited in the Museum Ludwig, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and the Biennale Moscow.
