Seeking Sactuary

Seeking Sanctuary is an exhibition of photographs taken by the celebrated war photographer, Paul Conroy, for the Bristish Red Cross, of Syrian refugees living in cities across the UK. The aim of the exhibition is to highlight the stories of these individuals and families as they rebuild their lives and to raise awareness of the work of the Red Cross. One of the refugees pictured, lives in Bristol. He has received help and support from the Red Cross in acclimatising to life here in the UK. Showcased in London in November 2013 as part of the international aid charity's 150th anniversary celebration., Seeking Sanctuary is an exhibition highlighting the work of the British Red Cross in helping refugees at home and abroad both today and throughout history.
