Based in Wakefield, Seanna Doonan specialises in Illustration and Mural Art, and her passion lies in the creation of historical and socio-political art.
About
Working predominantly with pen and ink, Seanna’s practice begins with people, voices and stories from which she simply illustrates an honest image of life heavily influenced by her own background and community.
Doonan’s work draws on mining communities, working-class life and the city of Wakefield. Emerging from a close observation and celebration of the endurance and stoicism of people around her, Doonan aims to provide a platform for social comment.
