The second of two film screenings this season from Andre Semenza and Trinity Laban alumnus Fernanda Lippi, founders of Zikzira Physical Theatre.
A rhythmically captivating exploration of love and loss between two women at the fin-de-siècle, Sea without Shore follows an amorous relationship between two women abruptly cut short. Set in remote landscapes in rural 19th century Sweden, the film was shot in CinemasScope by award-winning British director of photography, Marcus Waterloo, and features a sound design supervised by celebrated Academy-Award® winner Glenn Freemantle (Gravity).
Post-produced at Pinewood Studios, the film was directed and produced by Andre Semenza and Fernanda Lippi.
Presented by Maverick Motion and Zikzira Physical Theatre.
