Sea Flowers is Louise Sunnucks first Solo show. This exhibition is a new body of work which involves photography, painting and drawing.

About

The new paintings are her particular vision of natural phenomena or objects that she encounters. She retains the sense of movement and pattern that underlie the natural world. Many of the images are produced from photographs or the observation of patterns or surfaces created by time, wind and water that exist for just a moment, sometimes seconds. The images produced, capture a sense of flux or transition. The Sea flowers are her interpretation of Fractals in the sand that we as humans are naturally drawn to as they mimic plants, trees or roots. She finds beauty in the unspoken, un-acknowledged or overlooked. these works will hopefully resonate with the viewer. Louise Sunnucks graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2013 with a degree in Fine Art B.A. (Hons).
