Woodworking for Beginners – Make a Stool with Craig Thomson & Ben Whitney

Dates: 10.30am – 5pm Saturdays (19th, 26th November, 3rd December)
Price: £200 (All materials, tools and safety equipment provided)


Instruction and support to construct a bespoke, hardwood stool. This course offers an understanding of the nature of wood as a construction material, and how its natural properties are used to the carpenter’s best advantage in the design and making of timber structures.

Class sizes are limited to ensure individual attention, access to equipment, and the opportunity for discussion so booking is essential.

– Participants must be a minimum 16 years of age
– No prior experience necessary
