About
SCENOGRAPHY OF SPACE is a two-year interdisciplinary research initiative exploring the architecture of sound and performance. The five films currently on show at the Time Space Existence exhibition in Venice each highlight key themes for today’s concert halls, and feature contemporary practitioners and researchers in architecture, acoustics, scenography and culture.
Three major European concert halls form the basis for this multidisciplinary conversation: Harpa in Reykjavik, Wroclaw’s National Forum of Music and the Philharmonie de Paris. All three redefine the architecture of performance and the musical experience.
SCENOGRAPHY OF SPACE is a self-initiated research project authored and produced by PLANE—SITE.
