Curated by Sarah Gillett
Paul Emmanuel will be presented a series of new works that are observations and responses to life in the rural environment that underpins his current practice. Nantyffin has a strong farming community that responds, like all agricultural practices, to the land through a creative necessity. The resulting interventions carry an intrinsic aesthetic that is evidence of a complex and symbiotic relationship where people are both a part of the landscape while at the same time appear as outside.
This exhibition relates to the on-going 'Farm Shop' project.
