Punti Cardinali / Cardinals Points The Flat - Massimo Carasi inaugurates the 2017-2018 exhibition season with a solo show of works by Sauro Cardinali. "Cardinal Points" collects the elements that contribute to the definition of a psycho-physical map in which the artist places us, inviting us to elaborate the linguistic meanings of the objects and circumstances involved. The use of multiple compositional techniques, with the addition of "linguistic traps" - that at times echo in the titles of works on show -, distracts the viewer from a singular interpretation of the works' significance, leading us to go beyond the physical realm and explore the territory in all of its dimensions.
