About
Followed by the succesful exhibition that was re:Defining beauty Leyden Gallery and Nude for Thought are working together once more to bring to you
Saturday morning life drawing sessions
From 3rd to 7th November 2015 Leyden Gallery presented re: Defining beauty. This exhibition invited the viewer to explore and celebrate the male nude from the point of view of Nude for Thought's fourteen artists. Nude for Thought is a London-based group of male artists who work with the concept of the male as a muse in the great tradition. On Saturday 7 November Nude for Thought group performed two sessions of life drawing at the gallery that were aclaimed by the public. Focused on the male body, the life drawing sessions allowed participants to experience a contemporary take on the historical portrayal of the male nude.
The next life drawing sessions will happen on Saturday mornings at Leyden Gallery. Each session has a duration of 2 hours including a coffe/tea/wine break. Two members of Nude for Thought will be present at any one time.
