Sarah Hubacher: Winter Sun

Visually enticing and often including warm serene imagery, Sarah Hubacher’s prints offer a glimpse of winter sun on these dark December days.

Sarah is an interior designer and art director, working on a variety of projects, including experiments with various printmaking techniques within her own artistic practice.

The Riverside Café Gallery is delighted to present her recent body of work, which includes a wide range of media from screen printing onto canvas or various metals. These multi layers of paint, printing ink, paper and metals, together with the unusual and exciting photographic images she uses, give a depth as well as an ephemeral quality to her work.

Born in Switzerland and living in London, Sarah Hubacher studied BA Hons Surface Decoration at De Montfort University in Leicester. Over the past ten years Sarah has been working predominantly on commissioned prints from her studio on the picturesque Eel Pie Island in Twickenham.
