A destination of immersive fragrant experiences

About

Having conquered the money and fame obsessed world of Television Soap Opera, London based artist Sarah Baker has turned her attention to the milieu of perfume and will launch her new fragrance collection Sarah Baker Perfumes.

Sarah Baker Perfumes will transform the aptly named Storefront into an escapade for your senses, where you can let yourself be swept away into a world of decadence and desire. Come to the glamorous launch of Sarah Baker Perfumes and we will help you indulge in this new line of luxurious fragrances.

Each of the four exciting new scents in the Sarah Baker Perfume line evokes a different fantasy experience: while one will take you on a yacht ride in the Greek Islands, another will recall a blazing open fire in a Highland’s pub. Each scent is inspired by luxurious fashion motifs such as Leopard, Greek Keys, Lace, and Tartan.

On the evening of December 9, special guest Sarah McCartney of niche perfume brand 4160Tuesdays will be at Sixth Floor to guide you through the scented journey that the Sarah Baker Perfume line offers. McCartney has first hand experience of the collection; and is the creator of Lace and Tartan.

In the new-year Sarah Baker will be in conversation at Storefront with Saskia Wilson-Brown director of the Institute of Art and Olfaction, Los Angeles - where Baker began to develop her fragrance collection in 2013 with perfumer Ashley Eden Kessler.

‘As You Change, So Do I’ is a new contemporary public realm arts project for Luton, commissioned by Luton Culture, and delivered by a curatorial team headed by lead artist Mark Titchner.  Also on the evening of December 9, Titchner will be launching a new public artwork ' The Beacon', alongside other commissioned work by acclaimed artists Polly Apfelbaum, Jennifer West and Scott King.
