Is populist performance nothing but frippery?
Variety is dead? Cast your votes this Sunday.
People first, performance second. Samantha's Sunday Night Supper Club is a modern day social club housed in a legendary, operational, East End working men's club.
Samantha Man hosts a night of lo-fi cabaret, games, storytelling and more in this revolutionary-themed response to the mayoral elections and International Workers' Day. Expect Greg Wohead's Texan slideshow, Swiss-Chilean singer Ursula, a secret guest from Beijing, a visit from a Futurist and lots more.
Tickets are £6 in advance or £7 cash on the door. All proceeds go directly to the performers.
Doors at 7pm, show starts 8pm. Latecomers not admitted.
Sunday, 6th May, Downstairs @ Bethnal Green Working Men's Club, 44 Pollard Row, E2.
