About
Juana Anzellini - The artist finds in the traditional imaginery the motive “Mutuum Auxilium“ (EMBLEMATA, Andrea Alciato, 1591) and from there emphasizes and questions the contact between human beings in the contemporary context. Beyond its technical accuracy, the pictorical and graphical answers from the young artist, unveil a free, vital and open position towards the world. The subject of blindness - the limits and the ranges within - is the central interest in her work: “The world that surrounds me, what I see and what I´ve seen, my notes, my obsesions: all this gets into layers and conforms a structure that questions the glance“. From Bogotá, Colombia (*1985). Currently living and working in Berlin. She exhibits internationally since 2009. www.juana-anzellini.com
Andreas Kramer - Between 2012 and 2017, a series of large-scale, untreated canvas prints of colour woodcuts were created, inspired by the charismatic, real and metaphorical female figures of Greek antiquity and the early Italian Renaissance: Kassandra, Penelope, Athene and Laura. Floating, monumental and torso-like figures full of introverted elegance, whose appearance is fragile, interwoven in an imaginary pictorial space of changing atmospheric colours, and accompanied by an enigmatic web of lines. Lives and works in Berlin and in Italy. Since 1990 numerous exhibitions on international level. www.andreas-kramer.eu
Collectors Club Berlin - As an art association and creative network we promote the exchange between collectors, young art lovers, gallery owners and artists in favor of a higher awareness of relevant art. In salons, studio talks, gallery exhibitions, specialists’ conferences, trade fairs and publications, we continually accompany collectors and their subjects, connect people to talks and discover their work together through meetings with artists. Passion and appreciation are our principal investment and basic content for a lively exchange with art. contact: CCB / Jana Mila Noritsch www.collectorsclub.berlin
