About
Tiwani Contemporary is pleased to announce a story. in parts. - the first solo exhibition by ruby onyinyechi amanze. The exhibition will present new, unseen works that form part of an ongoing series of drawings in which the artist envisions narratives of supernatural existence to evoke ideas around place, belonging and hybridity.
ruby onyinyechi amanze (b. 1982) is a Brooklyn-based artist of Nigerian birth and British upbringing. She was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship in 2012 and has recently exhibited at MoCADA (New York, 2013) and CCA, Lagos (2013). She is currently a Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Workspace Artist-in-Residence.
