Ruben Pang Sutures and Infinite Laughter

This exhibition presents the ethereal combination of paintings, sculptures and music, including a body of twenty works of art as a result of twenty months of incessant creation between Ruben Pang's studio in Singapore and his refuge in Sardinia.

Oil, ceramic, aluminium, alkyd resins, echoes of guitar and drum riffs intersect, once again, to capture the eyes of the spectators and to reject any reference point or certainties a priori. It is an invitation to wander in secret worlds and get lost among the different interpretations they evoke.

An imminent spectre of strident contrasts occurs in Pang's work: subject VS subject, intimate VS mysterious, discipline VS hysteria. We are visually struck by these oscillations through the aposematic colours (such as orange on black) that characterize the jagged attitude of the exhibition.
