About

The British slave trade began with the monarchy. This exhibition explores past and present ramifications of royal slavery with visual, audio and sculptural works.

Artists include:

·      Gloria 'Mama G' Simms (Jamaica, Maroon Queen, textile artist)

·      Clinton Hutton (Jamaica, painter)

·      Opal Palmer Adisa (Jamaica, poet and writer)
