Portions of Share is a curatorial project by the students of the international MA and PhD programme in Cultural Studies, The Lisbon Consortium, Faculty of Human Sciences, Universidade Católica Portuguesa. This project, developed in the frame of the seminar in Curatorship led by Luísa Santos is conceived within the conceptual framework of the 4Cs: from Conflict to Conviviality through Creativity and Culture. The curatorial project consists of three artist’s books reflecting on notions of conviviality, power and hospitality.
Ana Margarida Abrantes studied English and German at the University of Aveiro, Essen and Innsbruck. She holds a Masters Degree in Cognitive Linguistics and a PhD in German Language and Literature. Between 2006 and 2009 she was visiting scholar at the Center for Semiotics of Aarhus University and at the Department of Cognitive Science at Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, USA. She is currently senior researcher at CECC – Research Center for Communication and Culture at the Catholic University of Portugal and a Faculty member of the School of Human Sciences of the same university. Her research fields include the study of cognition and culture, cognitive linguistics, cognitive poetics and German studies.
