Our second SUMMER MARATHON takes a revitalised approach to the traditional ‘group show’, presenting 4 artists in back­-to­-back solo exhibitions (in lieu of one group show) over the summer.

About

Working under the pseudonym Lucid Dreams, artists Itamar Freed and Kristina Chan present photographic works that search for notions of ‘the real’ in our technological world. Influenced by post-impressionism, Japanese prints and contemporary photography, Lucid Dreams questions the veracity of the image and the tension between the real and the fantastic. The work presents digital photographs that are printed as cyanotypes on handmade paper made with traditional Japanese techniques.
