In the upcoming exhibition at Galerie Kollaborativ, Peter Ronsdorf’s abstract paintings come together with Alexander Ronsdorf's photographic portraits of refugees living in Lebanon. Through the questions posed to us by abstract art, we momentarily step outside of ourselves and our previous understanding of the world. This is where portraiture comes in. It seeks to create a sense of trust in the unknown, to convey something intimate and personal.
