515 is pleased to host Rococo Sunshine a one person exhibit of works on paper by Vahid Sharifian, January 4 – 25, 2020, with an opening reception on Saturday, January 4, 7 – 9 pm, and a closing reception on January 25, 7 – 9 pm; otherwise viewing is by appointment. The gallery is located in the Bendix Building.

Born in 1982 in Iran and based in Brooklyn and Los Angeles, Vahid Sharifian is a celebrated Iranian artist who has extensively exhibited at venues the world over including the Ropac Gallery (Paris), James Fuentes LLC (New York) Chelsea Art Museum (New York, NY), the Institute Of Contemporary Arts (London, UK), the Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art (Copenhagen, DK), Guangju Museum (South Korea) and Venice Biennale (2015). His work has also been featured in Artnews, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Art in America among numerous others. Vahid Sharifian is included in 100 New Artistsby Francesca Gavin, published by Laurence King Publishers in 2011.
