About
Roby Dwi Antono (b. 1990, Semarang, Indonesia) lives and works in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Roby combines memories from his past with the uncertainty of the future. Severed heads, suspended in a cosmological skyscape, a swamp juxtaposed with the sci-fi peculiarity of hybrid creatures and dismembered anatomies, the artist mixes the prehistoric and futuristic, creating a non-linear version of time and space which swells to encompass past and present, real and imagined.Felix Treadwell (b. 1992, Maidstone, UK) lives and works in London, UK. He holds a BFA from Camberwell College of Arts and an MFA from the Royal College of Art. In addition to this solo presentation at NADA, Treadwell is currently showing other works from the series at The Hole. Other recent solo exhibitions include ‘Kindred Lands’, Carl Kostyál, Stockholm (2022), ‘Gentle Creatures’, Woaw Gallery, Hong Kong (2022), ‘Buff Titan’, L21 Gallery, Palma, 2021; ‘Dominion’, Dopeness Art Lab, Taipei, 2021 and ‘Rupert and Friends’, ‘Community’, LTD Los Angeles, 2019.
