About
Rob van Hoek is a professional Dutch artist who has exhibited in numerous exhibitions in the Netherlands, UK, Denmark and France. Rob is inspired by landscape, especially cultivated landscapes.
The patterns, lines, rhythms and shapes of (harvested) fields, a line of trees along a road, a solitary tree in a field, the houses which liven up the countryside; these are but a few of the features of cultivated landscapes that Rob explores in his meticulously detailed paintings.
