Bloqs is an open access workshop in North London facing the towpath of the river Lea. Alongside the exhibition there will be a series of events such as guided walks, talks and screenings all about the Lea and surrounding areas focussing on the significance of the Lea historically and today.
As part of the event series, we will have an evening of poetry and video work on Saturday 13th August focussing on the river and its surroundings. If you have made work along the Lea or nearby, let us know. This could be in any style of video/moving image work and can be a projection or shown on a screen and preferably no longer than five minutes. It would be of particular interest if you are from the local area but anyone in the UK can submit.
If you are unsure in anyway as to whether you should apply, do get in touch.
We are looking forward to seeing your submissions and seeing you at the event!
