RIDE YOUR PONY No.03: An Annual International Group Exhibition

About

Ride Your Pony is pleased to present to you its third annual international group exhibition this October as part of the Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival. 26 participants from across the globe including an array of Designers, Illustrators, Photographers, Architects, Artists and Makers have each been invited to create a piece of work to exhibit in response to a lucky dip letter of the alphabet. The brief asked the participants to use their letter which they received in the post as either an object within their work, or as a starting point for them to begin from.

Following our successful show last year during the Liverpool Independents Biennial, the 26 participants were asked whether they would like to participate again, nominate somebody new or let Ride Your Pony invite a new contributor. The same participant can’t take part for more than 2 years in a row unless they choose to collaborate.

For this years show we have some exciting new participants and collaborations including: Ceramic Artist Eusebio Sanchez; Writer, Artist & Activist Diana Tapp; in collaboration,
New York based Stina Puotinen and Alison Kuo; The Netherlands based Architect & Designer Anton & Elise Zoetmulder; in collaboration, Designers and Educators Adam Griffiths from Manchester, UK and Erik Brandt, USA and Bruges based Textile Artist and Art Teacher Rozemarijn Spilliaert
