RHYTHM promises to kick-start the summer with an explosive mix of colour, styles and mediums combining photography, abstract paintings, sculpture and portraiture, all united behind the show’s title piece ‘Rhythm’ by Ed Ball.
About
This summer Imitate Modern will be paying homage to the arts in a wider sense, in RHYTHM, our upcoming pop-up group exhibition, launching with a private view on the 1st of June.
As the name suggests, rhythm and music are the uniting themes for the multidisciplinary show, which features icons of the music industry including Prince, David Bowie, Elvis and Michael Jackson, as well as celebrating the vitality and universality of music in our everyday lives.
RHYTHM promises to kick-start the summer with an explosive mix of colour, styles and mediums combining photography, abstract paintings, sculpture and portraiture, all united behind the show’s title piece ‘Rhythm’ by Ed Ball. In aiming to bring rhythm into the visual realm, Imitate Modern’s diverse selection of artworks has been created by resident artists, loaned from private collections, including: David LaChapelle, Henry Hate, Tyler Shields, and will introduce newcomers that we are excited to be exhibiting for the very first time.
