About
For the exhibition Reyes+Pasolini, artist Carlos Reyes has been working with the Pier Paolo Pasolini Archive in Casarsa, Italy. Political posters and collages produced by Pasolini in his 20s, in collaboration with peasants from his native village, will be reinterpreted by Carlos Reyes and shown in a dialogue with the artist’s new works.
The show wants to reimagine Pasolini’s political and artistic legacy vis a vis the flagrant actualisation of many of his predictions regarding the struggle for common good and the contradictions of intolerance and globalism.
