Get imagining about the future of our environment in our collaborative worldbuilding workshops designed to create paradises of the future!
About
What if we lived in forest cities? What if we trampolined from garden to garden?
Exploring ideas for future green worlds, we invite families to come together for a fun and hands-on creative art workshop in our artist studio!
Using recycled and biodegradable materials, we’ll build a collaborative artwork together representing a world of the future. What would it feel like to live in a sustainable world and ecosystem? Do we have technology or not? Do we survive as humans or have we developed into a new species entirely? Is this a future or a past world?
During the workshops, you can also get involved in making a DIY film to document the process and bring the world to life! Using a handheld gimbal and iPhone, we will film these models like an AI robot travelling across or scanning a terrain. Recorded sounds will become the soundtrack to our world using the materials and things around us.

Workshops delivered by Hot Desque, a collaborative artisitc practice by Neena Percy and Lizzy Drury, based in South London. We are DBS checked and have delivered these workshops in London and nationally: Peckham Levels, Great Big Green Week, Shieffield Youth Project, Lewisham Youth Theatre. We believe positive action can stem from positive imaginative approaches to how we live in the world and how we connect with nature.
In partnership with Hypha Studios.
