In this short exhibition Wiebke Morgan investigates popular song, children's games and personal photographs, and in the process reveals an idiosyncratic perspective on change, memory and exhibition-making. The show brings together collage and computer-assisted photography with new and archive performance material on audio tape and video along with live and participatory elements. At 7.30 pm on the evening of 7 June we are pleased to present ‘The Song Remains the Same’, a performance by Wiebke Morgan. Can the same song ever be sung twice ? Can the same song ever be heard twice ? Wiebke Morgan circles these questions, while blurring the line between performer and audience. NB the performance will last approximately 15 minutes. Wiebke Morgan has shown work in a number of group and solo exhibitions in London and has previously performed at Shoreditch Town Hall, at the Centre of Attention’s Artist of the Year event, and at other performance/film/video events in London and in Germany
