About
TOO MUCH SOURCE, founded and curated by BBC Radio 1XTRA broadcaster, Swarzy Macaly, is celebrating their fifth anniversary this year! To mark the special anniversary Swarzy has joined forces with Young Barbican and BBC Radio 1XTRA to celebrate 10 Black British creatives across radio and music, business and finance, sport and wellbeing, art and literature, and faith and community.
This year’s exhibition is called Rest Assured in 2022 – a celebration and reminder of the importance of rest and the joy it brings, and how it serves as a key ingredient to a creative’s sauce and achievements. Rest Assured in 2022 brings together 10 portraits of incredible creatives across different industries, each celebrating their proudest achievement to date and their favourite ways to rest.
