RESIDUE explores the abstract patterns and textures created in the landscape by the forces of nature, and in some cases by man. Featuring work in mixed media and watercolour, this is a celebration of pure texture and the subtlety of colour in the landscape.
Featuring pieces inspired by Matthew's travels in the Nordic and Arctic regions, the remote mountains and moors of the UK, and also some works inspired closer to home, this exhibition celebrates the simple beauty of patterns left behind by nature.
