Explore colourful collograph printmaking using oil-based inks in this one day workshop inspired by The Hepworth Wakefield Garden. Collograph involves printing from a collage.
About
You will learn how to make and ink-up your own collograph plate from a collage piece and use it to create a series of prints.
Wakefield-based artist Bobshaped will provide an introduction, demonstrations and guidance through the processes, equipment and techniques.
No previous drawing or printing skills are required.
About the tutor
Bobshaped works across linocut, colle de chine, screenprint and letterpress among other mediums, selling her own fine art prints at exhibitions and events across Yorkshire. As a print tutor she has taught printmaking at The Hepworth Wakefield, Wakefield Cathedral, Wakefield Art Club and The Art House, Wakefield.
