‘Reimagining Our Future’ is a celebration of the Windrush legacy featuring music, storytelling, discussions, and the presentation of a new short documentary film.
Taking place at London College of Communication, UAL on Thursday 22 June, 11am-1pm, the event is taking place as part of the national celebration of Windrush 75th Anniversary supported by the National Windrush Museum.
‘Reimagining Our Future’ includes a screening of new Windrush 75 short documentary film ‘Inner Journeys: Levelling the Playing Field’; a storytelling provocation with music from storyteller Peter Badejo OBE; and contributions from students, alumni and staff from London College of Communication.
The event is presented by London College of Communication, UAL in collaboration with the National Windrush Museum, The Africa Centre, and Black Cultural Archives.

Young and upcoming creatives of Caribbean heritage take us on a journey exploring their own identities and creative practices in a new Windrush75 short documentary film commission. How the many expressions of their deep connection to their Windrush family heritage and history have influenced their work and ambitions for the future.
