This show comes from the desire to see the world in the unique way we used to when we were kids, to question our concepts of what is real and to rediscover a world which we lost along the way. RE:Imagined is the first show of its kind, featuring 9 different London based artists.
About
What I See When I Look At is a project which comes from the desire to see the world in the unique way we used to when we were kids, to question our concepts of what is real and to rediscover a world which we lost along the way. RE:Imagined is the first show of its kind, featuring 9 different London based artists:
Lauren Goldie
Hannah Dickins
Sequin Kay
Sarah Crew
Ryan Prince
Goia Mujalli
Karim Mortada
Bakhtiyar Berkin
Sultan Kinns
And curated by Robert John
The artists have all been asked to RE:Imagine landmark images and iconic pictures from the project in their own unique form of expression. This ranges from performance art, illustration, sculptures all the way through to fine art photography. Each piece will ask you questions about what you see around you in a way you never expected.
An immersive and interactive social art event, join us at the GX Gallery between the 25th and 30th January to share what you see.
