The group exhibition of young artists from Hungary and Germany explores the themes of childhood from different angles, utilising a wide array of media. The defining experience of the past – recalled through nostalgic feelings – becomes intertwined with the present and permeates the various layers of everyday existence. The exhibition takes as its point of departure precisely these in-between zones, which become tangible in the show through the investigation of different artistic positions. The notions of nostalgia, regression, play, and fantasy emerge as the conceptual base that defines the works.
