Kaan’s photographs provide a surreal view of the changing cityscape of London over the last 6 years. He created this exhibition by taking photos from the same point; his intention was to make audiences become familiar with the architectural texture that they would not have necessarily have noticed until now. Kaan creates superimposed images through window reflections, showing the changing moods of the London skyline through the different light conditions. His images break the tie between real and surreal, and reveal a form of perception that plays tricks with the viewer’s mind.
