About

Personal Statement

'I am contemporary artist whose Polish heritage has influenced me to examine how migration goes hand in hand with maintaining a familiar setting. My practice explores  the environment we immerse ourselves in. This includes the dwelling and its furnishings either brought or reconstructed which offer a cultural reference and identity. As a post migrant artist, I have a particular interest in how to develop and represent the liminal space between British and Polish Nationalities capturing the ways in which I can create a narrative which reflects this hybrid culture.
