Summer might be nearly at an end but there will be plenty of glorious garden colour at Shrewsbury's Millard and Lancaster gallery store thanks to the show of recent works by Suzy Fasht. Suzy graduated from the Royal Academy Schools in 1998. Her themes of landscape and still life painting began on her BA degree course at Wimbledon School of Art. She was able to develop her ideas further during a year's Residency at The London Business School where she took advantage of the close proximity to Regent's Park and made a series of works based on the Rose Garden. This theme continues to absorb her alongside the landscape paintings based on her surroundings in South Devon where she now lives with her family. Previous commissions include work for the Laura Ashley Foundation, Chevron UK and many private clients. Her love of vibrant colours, shapes and pattern is presented at this first Shrewsbury exhibition with a selection of recent oils and watercolours.
