In conjunction with the current show Perverts, Cell Project Space will host an evening of performances and readings by Alex Baczynski-Jenkins, Zuzanna Bartoszek and Juliana Huxtable on May 18th.
About
Over the duration of the evening, Baczynski-Jenkins will stage "Us Swerve" outside the gallery premises. The work is a choreographic score performed by three actors circling each other on rollerblades while reciting re-mixed and re-assembled lines of poetry by Essex Hemphill, Eileen Myles, Langston Hughes and others.
Zuzanna Bartoszek and Juliana Huxtable will separately present a performative reading addressing the show's content from their most recent work.
