Re: Experimental Artists' Books Touring Exhibition

All books are based on re word(s). For example: release, remote, reject. Books have been submitted from book artists from all over the world as well as work by staff and students from the School of Art, Design and Media. To accompany this exhibition there will be a collection of Visual Diaries which have been produced through a collaboration between Creative Technology and Illustration students within the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries. Also at the exhibition will be artists books from The Ministry of Books www.theministryofbooks.co.uk and zines from Zineopolis www.zineopolis.co.uk which are held in the University's own collection. The Permanent Bookshop from Brighton, a retailer and promoter of experimental printed matter who work with book-artists on exhibition and projects will be located in the SPACE throughout the exhibition. Presentation and Talk: Eldon Lecture Theatre 0.20 on Thursday 13th of November from 12am - 1pm by the co-founders of The Permanent Bookshop (Matt Fleming, Lee Shearman and Ian Whitmore) following by Dr Maureen O'Neill and Dr Jackie Batey presenting information about the Re: exhibition, The Ministry of Books and Zineopolis.
