About

A previously unseen series of five porcelain sculptures by British artist Rachel Kneebone are displayed in the Foundling Museum’s historic rooms. Tumbling limbs and fractured swags are at once coquettish and sinister. Exploring the human condition, the works distil and abstract the Foundling Hospital’s suppressed narratives of sexual desire, emotional damage, and female strength.
