Femanifesto are BACK this winter with a F*ck Xmas collaboration with Dalston-based gallery Pocko! We will be hosting 3 live events throughout late November and December, including experimental workshops, performances, artist talks and DJ sets.

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a Quilting Workshop with @aaronsobetski as part of our F*ck Xmas series!
“Threaded Stories” is meant for those who respond well to hands-on, communal, and tactile learing with immediate peer feedback. Together, we will block out scenes of our favourite fables, fairytales, stories, and nursery rhymes through the power and style of applique. This technique can be played with by percision, colour, material, and texture.
We will delve into these fables as a source of inspiration as many textile artists have done in the past, but create our own quilt block set with an individual approach. This will give us a chance to look into our own heritage, culture, traditionality, or lack-there-of.
Come join us in a hands on exploration of quilt-making and craft.
